HORRORible Children Haunt the Halls
When it’s dark, your eyes can play some seriously haunting tricks on you. Have you ever stared into the dark and see things change? The dark seems to get deeper and farther away. I once visited an old Victorian Manor and it was fairly lit, shadows played tricks on me and I saw things that made my heart race. The manor had the creepiest hallways, the kind that wrapped around a wall into another hallway. It’s what inspired me to create a cozy nook for my HORRORible children to haunt. If you follow me and have followed Sugar Spooks since 2013, you’ll recognize the frames contain HORRORible children and Sugar Spooks of the past. Little Annie Wilkes is lurking in our hallway, coloring , reading, and ready to sledge hammer whoever tries to come between her and her crush Paul. She was my favorite character from last year’s submission. I touched up her creepiness and gave her some new legs.
