Myra Mains

Myra Mains was a collaborative piece, brought to life by Verity Malinowska, Dusica Roberts and Kerry Hemms.

Verity, with a love for making people and busts, and a special love for special effects makeup, created Myra, using Saracino modelling Chocolate and Renshaws Extra Sugarpaste.

Dusica Roberts, used her incredible woodwork skills and attention to detail, to create the grave and headstone in which Myra sat, using RKT, Renshaw Extra Sugar paste, Sugarpress stamps and freehand engraving to bring her grave to life.

Kerry Hemms, brought along her detailed flower making skills, to create a super detailed Grave Vase, fit with dead roses, to adorn the grave.

We were inspired by to create Myra, by channelling all of our own individual skills, and being able to bring her to life in a collaborative way.
