Max’s Skateboard

Having two skateboarding sons I just had to pick Max’s skateboard (adding to my cool factor 😉 ). I covered one of their old decks in white Renshaw Professional Icing. Then airbrushed it red. The Madrid skateboard Explosion design is a combination of royal icing and painted details. Before distressing the deck with some coarse sandpaper, I also added some edible skater stickers. However I didn’t go all the way on the sticker front. Max’s skateboard has a lot more, but I wanted to show off the design. The trucks and wheels I made from CMC enforced Saracino modelling paste. What can I say, it got the boys’ approval, so I’m happy out!
