Dark Closet – Daniel Dieguez

About This Project

Dark Closet

Are there monsters inside the closet or are the monsters outside? The fear of the unknown, of the unfamiliar, of the strange, of the dark is something natural we all suffer from time to time. But it is really horrible to be caged, closeted, trapped, annulled or made disappear within a society. Bravery is not about not feeling fear, but to face our fears and come out, bring light to the dark side within us.

A life wasted buying to myself and to others to survive, fearing for my live, that would be my worst nightmare.

There’re still many countries where lgtbiq+ people are pursued, jailed or punished in many ways. Unfortunately Spain included were the hate attacks to queer people have been increased in nearly a 50% last few years, there’s not still a percentage for this year which seems even worst. Nowadays, still one of each three countries have penalties regarding homosexual behavior, eleven of them with death.

Spread love not pain.
