“Ronda” – Zoe Burmester

Welcome to the Cadaver Diner. It’s a real meat factory….

This piece was inspired by the works of the surreal photo artist ‘Petite Doll’ and by the sculptures of the extremely talented doll artist Elisabetta Visentini.

Ronda is sculpted from Candy Clay and cake, and dusted with Fractal and Magic Colours petal dusts. The coke soda was made with cola flavoured jelly and isomalt ice cubes , and the fries are modelling chocolate.

And the skin containers….well I wouldn’t like to say….

Named as one of the UK’s top 10 Cake Artists 2019, Zoë is a cake artist and teacher who specialises in illusion cakes and cake sculptures. Her work has been featured on TV around the world, in international publications, cake industry press and  she has recently launched an online  sugarcraft and cake school covering all aspects of cake decorating for all levels of aspiring cake makers.
