Even though she was the nicest girl in all the province, for as long as Krystalynn could remember, all the other children made fun of her of the length of her towering neck.  And many a day passed in which Krystalynn curled her long neck around her pillow and she cried herself to sleep.  As the summer turned to fall, the traveling circus came to town with a parade of merriment and beckoning. Krystalynn watched from the curb appreciating her height to see but feeling her sadness inside that she would never find her place in a world where accentuated necks were not a thing to be appreciated…. But fate had other plans and as the Circus Parade proceeded up the High Road, along strode Zak The Giraffe and when Zak’s eyes naturally met Krystalynn’s eyes, she knew she could hold her head high….And Krystalynn and Zak walked off into the sunset and into the Circus History Books as the most beloved Giraffe and Girl Act in all the world!
