Secret Ingredient – Andrew Fuller

Created from his love for Tim Burton films and absinthe, Andrew Fuller created this severed head dripping the secret ingredient to “Absinthe for the Recently Deceased”

Made with modeling chocolate, fondant, isomalt and painted with metallic dusts, petal dusts, and paint made from cocoa butter and color dusts. The absinthe glass, irises, and dripping green ooze are sculpted from isomalt. The blades on Edward’s scissor hand and the absinthe spoon are made from pastillage. Edward’s head is life-sized, the glove is 19” tall, and the entire piece took several days to complete.

Andrew Fuller is relatively new to the world of cake, having created his first cake in March of 2016 for a relative. Andrew is the owner of Guy Meets Cake in Des Moines, Iowa.
